The US Commission on Civil Rights will be holding a public brief in voting rights, An Assessment of Minority Voting Rights Access in the United States. In addition to the presence of the Commissioners, a panel of well known voting experts including Anita Earles, Vanita Gupta and John Merrill. This will be an all-day briefing starting at 9am at the Marriott, Crabtree. There will be limited opportunities for public comments starting at 6pm. It is my understanding that the Commisstion will be accepting written comments until March 19.
